The Options Dialog: Resources Tab
The Resources tab of the Options dialog contains the resources that will be used by default.
Local Resources
This section contains the setting for the local Resource file that will be used by default. This XML file contains all of your locally created resources. This is a mandatory field.
By default, this file is localresources.xml
. If this file is missing, the system will generate a new copy of it.
To select a different resource file, click Browse...
The Select Resource File dialog opens.
Important | Ensure that you select a valid local resources file. Do not select a workspace definition file (WDF), which is a different file than the local resources file. |
Workspace Resources
This section contains settings for the Studio workspaces resources that the Add-In will use. A system administrator or Studio administrator usually supplies the values for this section.
Using a Studio workspace ensures you have the required resources to create Documaker documents, and helps ensure the resources in you use are consistent with those in Studio.
Important | If you will be creating documents that will be based on a Studio workspace, it is critical that this section be correctly configured. Contact your system administrator, Studio administrator, or project manager for help if necessary. |
